Renting the Harms Gallery Event Room

The Perfect Facility for Weddings, Banquets, Galas, and Receptions.

The Harms Gallery is an exquisite meeting and event room located inside the beautiful waterfront Calvert Marine Museum.

The space includes a prep kitchen and state-of-the-art audio and video equipment. A removable wall, opens the Harms Gallery up to the museum lobby and gives the space the capability of accommodating large functions. The Harms Gallery can accommodate up to 150 guests.

Wedding rates  
The Wedding Package $3,975

The wedding package includes access to the Harms Gallery and prep kitchen beginning at Noon. The Waterfront Lounge is available by request for the wedding party beginning at Noon. Access to the lobby, exhibit galleries, boat basin, and Corbin Nature Pavilion are included and permitted at 5:00 p.m. In addition, a one-hour wedding rehearsal is included by appointment from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. the week of the wedding. 

 
Weekday event rates  
Harms Gallery $200/hour
The Harms Gallery is available for daytime events between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Daytime rentals include an hour for set-up and an hour for clean-up, not to extend beyond 5:00 p.m.   
Weekend & Weeknight event rates
 
Harms Gallery $450/hour
The Harms Gallery is available for daytime and evening rentals on weekends and weeknights. For daytime events, the Harms Gallery is available between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  Daytime rentals include an hour for set-up and an hour for clean-up, not to extend beyond 5:00 p.m. For evening events, set-up in the lobby is permitted at 5:00 p.m. and events may begin at 5:30 p.m.

Important Information: 

  • If you plan to have the removable wall open for a large event, it can be opened at 5:00 p.m. (when the museum closes to the public). To accommodate time for set-up, events can begin at 5:30 p.m.
  • Equipment available for the Harms Gallery includes chairs for up to 100 guests and assorted tables for up to 150 guests. 
  • There is restricted availability during the summer. The museum's largest fundraisers, Waterside Concerts, are typically held between Memorial Day and Labor Day. We will not confirm a rental date during the summer concert season until our fundraiser dates are established. If you are interested in renting during this time frame, contact the Facilities and Events Coordinator for more information.
  • Site visits are required prior to booking your space. It is imperative you physically see the museum and understand the uniqueness of each space. Please contact the Facilities and Events Coordinator to email to schedule a site visit.
