The Dee of St. Mary’s is a sailing skipjack used in the museum’s Chesapeake Bay Field Lab programs. All sails depart from the CMM dock, weather permitting.
Public Sails Schedule 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.
The museum offers 2-hour public sails aboard the historic vessel Dee of St. Mary’s. This is a great way to experience the Patuxent River aboard an iconic Chesapeake Bay Skipjack. Help raise and lower the sail. (Children under 5 are not permitted on Dee public sails.) Join us for a public sail in 2019:
Click on a date to register. Children tickets are for ages 5-12 years. When registering the number reflects the space available. For example the number 3 is the most you can purchase, then only 3 spaces remain.There may be remaining seats available. Check at the Admissions desk the day of the cruise.

Fees and Operations
$25 for ages 13 and up
$15 for children 5-12.
*Sorry, no children under 5 permitted on sails.
Sails depart from the Calvert Marine Museum at 14200 Solomons Island Road South, Solomons, Maryland 20688. Please arrive 20 minutes early.
Advance reservations are required by noon the Friday prior to the sail. We require 5 business day cancellation for a full refund, minus $5 processing fee. If the sail is cancelled due to weather, a full refund is issued.
Any remaining tickets will be available for purchase at the Admission Desk the day of the cruise.
