More… Applicants for the CMM Junior Docent program must be between the ages of 13 and 15 at the time of the training week. These students are trained to interact with museum visitors, using live animals or artifacts to teach about the local history, environment, and paleontology. Our goal is to instill a conservation ethic by getting young people personally involved and invested in the museum’s mission which will give them a vested interest in both the museum and the surrounding community.
