“THE BAND OF THE NATION’S CAPITAL” COMING TO SOLOMONS

In the spirit of true patriotism, enjoy the 257th Army Band at the Calvert Marine Museum on Friday, July 2 at 6:30 p.m. A special feature during the July First Free Friday program, “The Band of the Nation’s Capital” will delight and educate all ages with patriotic music, marches, and entertainment. Bring lawn chairs, a picnic supper, and join the fun for this free outdoor concert!
The museum is open and free to the public from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with docents in every gallery. Hop aboard the historic Wm. B. Tennison for a free 30-minute river cruise sponsored by M&T Bank.

Join the Calvert Marine Museum in celebrating 40 years of excellence in 2010. The museum is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is $7.00 for adults, $6.00 for seniors and military with valid I.D., and $2.00 for children ages 5 – 12; children under 5 are free.
