MILITARY / DoD APPRECIATION DAY AT THE CALVERT MARINE MUSEUM

The Calvert Marine Museum is hosting a Military / DoD Appreciation Day on Saturday, November 11, 2006.
To thank the local military and support staff, the museum will offer free admission to guests who present appropriate military identification. Additionally, discounted memberships will be available to military personnel as well as discounts in the museum’s store.
“We are very fortunate to have the support of our local military and DoD personnel,” says Doug Alves, Director of the Calvert Marine Museum. “Many of our volunteers and members are local military or DoD staff, and we feel that having a day to say thank you is important. Not only will we be honoring our veterans on November 11, we will be honoring our military friends locally who help make the Calvert Marine Museum a success.”
