SYMPOSIUM TO HIGHLIGHT FOSSIL DIVERSITY OF CALVERT CLIFFS

On Saturday, November 11, 2006, the Calvert Marine Museum’s Paleontology Department is pleased to present a symposium on the Geology and Paleontology of Calvert Cliffs.  At the symposium, presenters from across the nation will highlight some of the remarkable diversity of fossils that are preserved in these world-famous cliffs. 

Registration begins at 8:00 am in the museum lobby, with presentations beginning at 10:00 am.  The museum galleries will be open to symposium participants at 8:30 am.  A special dinner will be offered in the museum at 5:30 pm.  The symposium is free and open to the public.  To register for the meals and/or view a complete listing of presenters and topics visit www.calvertmarinemuseum.com.
