THE CALVERT MARINE MUSEUM’S NOVEMBER FIRST FREE FRIDAY CELEBRATES CMM POSTCARD DISPLAY

On Friday, November 2, the Calvert Marine Museum will be open free to the public from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. for First Free Friday.  On view will be over 80 images submitted by 23 photographers who participated in the museum’s postcard contest.  The winning image, which will become the official 2007 CMM postcard, was taken by John Young, and is a beautiful picture of the Drum Point Lighthouse at sunrise.  The new postcards will be available for sale in the museum store.

All of the postcard entries will be mounted for review in the museum’s lobby and the photographers will be on hand to discuss their work. Light refreshments will be served.  Come enjoy the “Best Museum on the Bay” and celebrate local talent as part of the November’s First Free Friday.
