Best known for hits such as "Independence Day," "Concrete Angel," and her most recent "Teenage Daughters," grammy and four time CMA Vocalist of the Year winner, Martina McBride returns to the outdoor concert stage on Saturday, July 30 at the Calvert Marine Museum. Local singer/songwriter Courtlyn Carr, from Owings, Maryland will open the show at 7:30 p.m.
Proceeds from the auction support the education programs and activities at the Calvert Marine Museum. Since 1985, our concerts have been cultivated and refined to become the most popular performing arts venue in Southern Maryland. Many nationally known performers have hit the concert stage over the past 26 years, including BB King, Chicago, Sara Evans, Steve Miller Band, ZZ Top, and more.
Bids for the auction may be submitted online at www.calvertmarinemuseum.com/ufe. Bidding will close at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29. Tickets that have already been purchased for Martina McBride may be redeemed for this package by the winner. The museum is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is $7.00 for adults, $6.00 for seniors and military with valid I.D., and $2.00 for children ages 5 – 12; children under 5 and museum members are always admitted free.
