This musical tribute to our Chesapeake waters, watermen and artists will also signal the release of Tom's final recording, which will be available for sale that evening. Wisner has dedicated his life to chronicling the rich traditions of our regional waterways. He will be joined on stage by long-time friends and associates Frank Schwartz, Teresa Whitaker, Mac Walter, and John Cronin, singer/songwriters and powerful performers in their own right, who have assisted in the production and will be on hand to perform a preview of the work. The CD is produced by Jim Fox of Lion and Fox Studios in College Park Maryland.

On Friday, February 5, The Calvert Marine Museum continues its First Free Friday Concert Series with the Annapolis Bluegrass Coalition. ABC returns to the museum stage by popular demand, bringing their tight three part harmonies, hot picking, and bluesy solos. Described as playing ‘bluegrass fireworks,’ the group performs throughout the mid-Atlantic area. Annapolis Bluegrass Coalition released their first CD, Foolish Pleasure, in September of 2003 and their second, Live At The Prince, in 2007. Both will be available for sale. The concert begins at 6:15 p.m. There are no reservations and seating is on a first come first served basis. The museum is open free from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with docents in every gallery. The First Free Friday Concert Series is funded by the Maryland Arts Council and the Boeing Company, with additional support from the Community Bank and Solomons Holiday Inn Select.
